Pros
Good benefits, work/life balance, and compensation
Cons
LinkedIn prioritized diverse recruiting efforts over the last couple of years, however once regular layoffs began, BIPOC (specifically Black and Latinx colleagues) were the ones majorly impacted (which is unfortunate given the already limited #).. The DEI efforts are all a façade with no true meaning. BIPOC are frequently overlooked for promotions and internal transfers, additionally you will be pressed to find a BIPOC on any of the interview panels outside of recruiters, especially in Product and Engineering. There are very few guidelines at LinkedIn for hiring BIPOC, so diversity is VERY scarce in middle management positions that aren't in the support org and virtually non-existent in product and engineering. Be sure to verify all of this by reviewing their public diversity reports especially over the next couple of years and be sure to ask questions about diversity throughout the interview process. Advice to all - Once you're in LinkedIn it's almost impossible to get promoted or get a decent raise so be sure to heavily negotiate when joining the company.
