LR is a great company to work for, it has excellent benefits, as well as a long history with community ties. Also, I love and respect what the company stands for - their beliefs and goals for expansion and growth. It is a wonderful working environment, with great people you can build long term relations with.

Limited growth opportunities - primarily because people do not leave the company.

Great environment to work in. Everyone seems to be mission focused and works really hard to make things work for the various populations and clients they support. It is really refreshing when you hear about someone getting off of homelessness and a lot of other great things that happen there. The company celebrates minor and major achievements, especially of people that may generally go unnoticed.

A lot of work. As any non-profit there is a lot of work to be shared among a small group of people. It can sometimes be daunting when you think about how much needs to get done and when you see the work pile up, especially when you don't like or want to take work home. There is a lot of good within this company but it's hard to achieve everything they want because of the #1 problem, funding.
