Pros
I worked for the company part time while attending school. I was looking to improve my public speaking and communication skills, get some experience within sales, marketing, and customer service. I was given a daily training guide and I worked closely with many trainers that gave me guidance and a ton of knowledge. I was able to learn something new each day. After my training, it was up to me to use the information and skills they taught me to perform for the client. It gave me a chance to demonstrate that I can handle a lot of responsibility and operate in an independent environment just as strongly as a team environment. Because the company heavily focuses on developing people, I was able to gain a solid experience and skills that I will be able to utilize at any company in the future.
The environment is positive, upbeat and motivating. The people are vested in developing you. And it's very competitive, which I loved.
Cons
it was difficult to balance the work and school, but they were flexible working with my schedule. Upfront, I had to commit a lot of time into the training process before I saw the results. However, I am now comfortable talking to all different types of people from many cultures, providing presentations, and getting up in front of a room full of people and talking.
