Pros

Company seems to care about its employees - IF you get a good DSM. I've heard horror stories about bad DMs. It is a fun job, I'd rather take pictures and make me worried for people than stand behind a register. There are opportunities to earn a small commission by selling higher packages or digital albums.

Cons

The labor model is AWFUL. We can't guarantee our part time employees a set number of hours per week and it makes it hard to keep employees. The hours are terrible especially if you have a family or kids, you must work at least 2-3 weekends per month and are held accountable for things that are completely out of your control. Studio managers are essentially working 4-5 different jobs and getting paid for one.

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
