Pros
Necessary tools, equipment, and PPE required for the job are fully provided.
Cons
The management and director-level leadership at Life Environmental are fundamentally flawed. I spent 6 months on probation, during which my manager consistently told me everything was going well. However, in the very last week of my probation, I was asked to attend a meeting at a location 2.5 hours away from my home.
Upon arrival, I was summarily dismissed "due to business reasons" with zero prior warning. Because they gave me no heads-up, I was forced to carry all my personal belongings from the company vehicle across a grueling 3-train journey home. The way it was handled made me feel like I had committed a crime rather than being a valued employee.
