Pros
Vacation benefits are pretty generous when compared to other companies (10 days first year prorated, 8 paid holidays, 3 flex holidays) but you have to wait a year to get sick time. Some of the employees are genuinely nice, hard-working people who know a lot about the business. Company has huge potential for growth.
Cons
Upper management does not communicate effectively with middle management or any other employees, often leaving them blind to initiatives, goals, objectives, and overall company performance. Some members of the upper management staff are extremely corrupt and blatantly dishonest. Take it or leave attitude makes workplace morale grim. Some departments are expected to do an unreasonable amount of work for a typical 8 hour day. Even the best employees can't keep up with the perceived expectation (like I said, no communication). Recent layoffs have disintegrated whatever positivity was left. The few initiatives which do reach the lower-management staff often feel rushed and/or unplanned with unreasonable timelines for completion/results and no real guidance or resources to accomplish anything meaningful.
