Pros
Conveniently located premises, great colleagues. Strong health and safety culture. Paid great farewell money when made me redundant due to the mining industry downturn. Good brand to have in your resume.
Cons
Salaries are below industry average. Personal development is not supported, has to be paid in advance from your pocket, when certificate issued it can be reimbursed. Management was changed due to acquisitions, and the atmosphere changed accordingly. New management's long term strategy was reactive rather than proactive - resulting a loss of plenty of sharp minded engineers then, and a whole manufacturing facility in couple of years.
