Pros

None that outweighed the cons.

Cons

In my experience, this was a deeply frustrating and demoralising place to work. The company culture was hostile unless you fit a very specific personality type, and anyone who didn’t was quickly sidelined or pushed out. There was consistently high staff turnover during my time there, which I felt was linked to how employees were treated and how feedback was handled. Hard-working individuals did not appear to be valued or retained, and this created a revolving-door environment rather than a stable team. This instability was not treated as a problem by management, despite the obvious impact on morale, workload, and continuity. The management team were, in my experience, resistant to feedback and self-reflection. Concerns raised by staff were often dismissed, which contributed to a culture where people felt unheard and easily replaceable. The workplace culture leaned heavily towards “lad culture”. I personally witnessed frequent inappropriate comments that I felt crossed professional boundaries, including sexist and discriminatory remarks. This created an uncomfortable environment for many employees. Progression within the company felt arbitrary and opaque. Despite strong performance, internal promotions felt inconsistent, while senior staff appeared to award themselves inflated titles. HR and internal processes did not inspire confidence. Confidentiality, consistency, and professionalism felt lacking, which made it difficult to trust internal support structures. Overall, I would not recommend working here unless you closely align with the culture they favour as otherwise, this is not a supportive or sustainable environment.

Pros

Very few. Some colleagues at junior level were supportive and trying their best in a difficult environment.

Cons

My experience at this company was extremely disappointing. The culture felt deeply unhealthy and, at times, hostile. Senior leadership frequently behaved in ways that came across as manipulative and self-serving, with little accountability. Feedback was minimal, and when given was often delivered in a way that undermined confidence rather than developing people. There was a strong sense that hard work was not recognised or rewarded. Many staff put in significant effort, yet progression and appreciation seemed inconsistent and opaque. As a result, turnover was extremely high, with many capable employees leaving after relatively short periods. I also observed behaviour and comments that created what felt like an uncomfortable and, at times, misogynistic environment. In one instance, a senior leader’s conduct toward a junior female colleague raised serious concerns among staff. The response from management appeared dismissive, which only contributed to a wider sense that issues were not taken seriously. More broadly, some messaging around workplace behaviour felt troubling. Rather than focusing on maintaining a respectful and safe environment for everyone, there were comments implying that individuals should modify their behaviour (such as not drinking at work events) to avoid potential misconduct. This type of framing was unsettling and did little to build trust. There was also a culture of speaking negatively about colleagues behind their backs, including dismissive or inappropriate remarks about staff members. Over time, this eroded morale and created an atmosphere where many people felt uncomfortable or unsupported. Overall, the environment took a noticeable toll on confidence and mental wellbeing for several employees, myself included. A workplace should support development and professionalism, but this experience unfortunately had the opposite effect.
