Pros

OK pay (not high but slightly better than minimum wage) plus optional benefits Staff were nice and welcoming when I first arrived, training was helpful (although it could have covered the non-call functions more in-depth than it did) Work from home (both a pro and a con, will elaborate below)

Cons

Work from home (at least for me) is a very isolating, even for an introvert; I don't do well on phones either and this is more-or-less a glorified call center job CEO is difficult to work with, nit-picks every single mistake, and all he cares about you doing is being on the phone (you technically have other assignments but you can only do them outside regular work hours which are reserved exclusively for making calls...so goodbye work-life balance, your work is your life and vice versa). Also, during my interview, he spent a significant amount of time bashing my predecessor's performance which should have been a sign to avoid this job. Minimal flexibility: you have to adjust your work hours to coincide with ET zone, so if you agree to work 10am-6pm, you're actually agreeing to work 7am-3pm if you're PT for example. Limited sick days too, so even if you get seriously sick you'll likely still have to work sick if you don't want to use them all up on one bout of illness. All in all, you feel like you're a prisoner in your own home.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, and fully remote work is a plus! I've had a good experience in my time with LegiStorm, and look forward to seeing the company continue to grow. Very generous benefits.

Cons

Not all internal systems are organized, but this is something management is currently improving.

Pros

It’s remote, but that’s it.

Cons

High turnover and flawed evaluation process This is a high-turnover environment with a very low tolerance for ramp time. New hires are expected to perform almost immediately, and decisions about capability are made far too early to be meaningful. In my experience, evaluation begins while you are still learning the system, which leads to premature and low-quality judgments. The process lacks structure. There is no clear separation between training and evaluation, no defined improvement window, and no consistent feedback loop that allows someone to correct mistakes and demonstrate progress. Instead, small early errors can be over-weighted and turned into broad conclusions about performance. The culture is extremely detail-focused to the point of being counterproductive, creating pressure during onboarding rather than supporting development. This approach seems to result in a cycle of hiring and quickly replacing people rather than building a stable, effective team. If you are looking for a thoughtful onboarding process, fair evaluation, or long-term stability, this is likely not the right environment. In hindsight, I regret choosing this opportunity over other options, as the experience did not match the level of professionalism or structure I expected.
