This is going to be long but read this if you’re considering joining here.
- They will say anything during interviews just to get you to join. Benefits and policies change every few months. Expect to be shocked because even things written on paper won’t mean anything.
- Toxic work culture. People in the leadership are incompetent, unprofessional, and keep micromanaging. No healthy productive discussions, only blaming and politics, badmouthing others behind their backs openly in meetings, lack of respect for others, mostly in upper management. Managers force their opinions on things they have no expertise in and get aggressive when you don’t agree with something.
- Too much hiring and firing.
- No proper review cycle or feedbacks done. Rare promotions and runs on favouritism. No raises. No rewards for good performance. “Review cycle” is only in name but nothing is done, or given to good performers. They don’t even accept feedback or let you help in improving things. They only want you to perform endless redundant tasks like a robot. I wonder if they ever stopped to think if they would just let people do their jobs in peace, it would only be a favour to them in the big picture. But they want everything done in a small amount in time which is not possible, unless you have the powers to travel multiverses and do it all at once.
- Too much work and they refuse to hire more resources. Unrealistic expectations from management. When anyone in the upper management no longer likes you, you are set up for failure and soon let go of.
- No learning or career growth opportunities in this company.
Consider joining only if you have no problem working 24/7 and being on call most of the day and weekends with no life.
