Pros

If you don’t have much experience and can be a yes person, you will excel for a couple of years until they inevitably let you go. If you are someone who likes to clock in and clock out and doesn’t care about the work they do and has lots of safety nets for when you are inevitably let go, this is the company for you. The pay is good. Beautiful Copenhagen offices and a Michelin starred chef.

Cons

Genuinely the worst company not only to work for but also unbelievably poorly managed. What it’s like to work at Leapwork? Working for Leapwork will be a blip in your career if you are an experienced professional who knows and understands how their discipline should be run/operate. You will not be listened to, respected and communicating your professional views will be to your detriment. I have seen it happen too many times. The pay is good, but trust me when I say this - it is not worth it. The people who are in leadership are all part of the typical boys club, but it’s initially cloaked in a ‘Nordic Leadership Style’, but look past this - it is completely false. You will hear Senior/leadership say they are there if you have any questions and want your feedback on things but 1. They will never make time for you and 2. If your feedback opposes their views, you will be in their line of fire when it comes to the frequent layoffs they do. The company is really struggling financially and if you ask them about this, they will lie to you. Even though they are struggling financially, the CEO uses the company as his little playground, hiring a Michelin starred chef to cook breakfast and lunch for everyone each day in the Copenhagen office (which is delicious, but grossly mismanaged funds), the office in Copenhagen has beautiful and very very veerrry expensive artwork and sculptures, which on its own is completely fine but when the company is struggling financially, it’s again gross mismanagement of funds. I struggle to understand why they have a strategy of letting go of dozens of people each quarter - if anyone has any theories, please add it to Quora or Reddit. They state that they have done this for “financial reasons” but they continue to hire at speed and fire just as quickly… maybe if they let go of those lower down in the food chain before 2/3 years of service it would be cheaper for them in the long run? I don’t know. I really cannot believe that a company that has been ran like this for so long is still afloat- although barely. For a company that has been around this long, it would be reasonable to expect more growth but seeing how it’s managed, it’s unsurprising their growth is minimal. For a startup/(trying to be) scale up, you would expect to be offered shares, but this is only available to a special few. Leapwork is a very worrying company.

Pros

The leadership team at Leapwork is the best I’ve worked with. They show genuine respect for every department in the company and understand the role each team plays in building a stronger, growing organization. There’s an outstanding culture of collaboration—teammates support one another and are invested in helping each other succeed. The buddy system for new hires is especially helpful and makes onboarding feel welcoming and structured. Enablement is thoughtfully designed and easy to access, making it simple to reference materials as you ramp and continue learning. It’s clear that the company puts effort into setting employees up for success. The product itself is resonating favorably with customers who want to accelerate test automation and build pipelines quickly. With exciting, game-changing updates on the horizon, the company is in an even stronger position moving forward. Benefits are another highlight. Vacation time is generous and genuinely supports work–life balance, and the healthcare plans offer solid coverage with much lower premiums than I’ve experienced in previous roles.

Cons

As the company continues to grow, the internal tech stack is still evolving to support expanding teams. Some tools are being phased out while new ones are being evaluated or implemented, which can create temporary gaps in workflows. It’s clear leadership is focused on aligning the right tools for scale, and I’m particularly looking forward to additional AI-driven prospecting and productivity tools that will help increase efficiency for go-to-market teams.
