Pros

+ The unlimited PTO was nice + Benefits seemed decent but I did not participate + You can work remotely

Cons

+ Toxic Positivity & Gaslighting Culture I have never worked at a company that preached "family" and didn't mean it quite like Leadventure. You are shamed for not joining in on their forced social interactions. Managers are VERY aggressive about fake teamwork - even if you're producing results and prefer to be less social. You are expected to be at the beck and call of managers that consistently cancel meetings and reviews with you. They don't provide true bonuses or incentives, but rather reward "above and beyond" work with a silly program called Bonusly. I was able to get a $10 Chipotle Gift Card after THREE years. PERFECT! + Overuse of Resources The executives and upper management at this company will bleed every drop of resources they have. Employees wind up tired, burnt out, and with bad mental health because of the demand from management. They will gaslight and bully you into doing extra work and side projects for other brands or teams. Multiple managers and executives will approach you and become verbally aggressive until you cave in and do what they want. And you better believe they won't pay you for doing these extra responsibilities. + Incompetent & Apathetic Management Many upper managers at this company are not qualified to be doing the jobs they are doing. They don't listen to their employees, they do not treat them fairly, and they do not have sympathy for them. I've worked at several companies and NEVER have I been around executives SO devoid of emotion. Many managers don't even have experience in the field they are managing. Appaling. + No Room for Growth, No Pay Increases For multiple years in a row, employees have been denied pay raises for some weak excuse like a "recession" (really, 3 years in a row?) or "poor company performance" based on business decisions that the company itself made. There is no real path for growth - you're either an entry-level employee or you get a "slight" bump up to "middle" management for little to no pay. Their pay is FAR below the industry standard and managers are PROUD of that. You're lucky if you get a $50 a month "cost of living" raise. + Unstable Job Security This company is beginning to outsource a lot of its work to other countries for pennies on the dollar. It seems like it is becoming a digital sweatshop of sorts and unless you work in client-facing sales roles or upper management, I would not recommend accepting a position here purely out of fear of replacement by a cheaper option. The bottom line is the company's only worry and they will not be loyal to you.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working at LeadVenture. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on continuous learning and growth. Leadership encourages innovation and gives employees opportunities to contribute meaningful ideas and take ownership of their work. One thing I especially appreciate is the emphasis on professional development and teamwork. Colleagues are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help each other succeed. The company also does a good job of adapting to change and encouraging new ways of thinking. I would recommend this company to professionals looking for a place where they can grow their skills, collaborate with talented people, and make an impact.

Cons

Like any organization, there are areas that could continue to improve, particularly around prioritization and communication during fast-moving initiatives, but overall the environment is motivating and rewarding.

Pros

Paid time off, work from home, the people at the Canton NY branch are great.

Cons

LeadVenture corporate does not value their employees and off shores or eliminates important roles at their brands without having any real understanding of what that's going to do to their ability to operate. Multiple years with no raises. Developers are handed constantly changing priorities where important projects are left unfinished for a more important project which is left unfinished for a more important project ect. You will feel like you have no job stability and it's probably wise for you to feel that way. The CEO once mentioned in a company wide meeting that the company's only profitable brands were it's newest acquisitions, which is an interesting way to tell everyone that the longer you manage a company the less profitable it becomes. Zero attempt to preserve existing company cultures at acquired brands, that mixed with everything else means terrible employee satisfaction. They do not care for their customers at all, a major source of culture clash with our company pre-aquisition where customer service and reputation was a particularly strong point. I can only imagine they've tanked our previously stellar net promoter score which again hurt employee satisfaction.
