Poor company - General Manager Laundry Capital Employee Review

I loved working for LC. They allowed me to grow and provided opportunity for learning. The work was flexible and there was a culture that encouraged hard work-a good balance.

My commute to the office was difficult as I lived in Manhattan and the office was in Queens.

They offer holidays off with pay however there is a catch.

This place is very unfriendly. Noone says hello to you. The owner walks right by you without saying good morning. They have a kitchen area however they do not have an area where you can walk away from your desk to eat lunch. This forces you to eat while you work or go out for lunch. Instead of finding solutions to problems they play the blame game. There is no trust to allow you to do your job. The manager is so inept she doesnt remember things and makes up stories to cover for her ineptness. This place is also anti American. For example a conversation was overheard about something negative and the response by an employee was well that's the American way. They are stupid. They also monitor your bathroom breaks as well. They dont utilize an educated person to help make their business better. The manager resorts to workplace bullying and blaming others for her mistakes. Then lies about it. This place is very toxic. They do not have any people skills. Stay away from this business.
