Pros
Currently, I love working with the ladies in the front office. Collaborating with my colleagues in the office is always an enjoyable experience. We maintain a strong balance and demonstrate mutual respect, fostering an environment where we genuinely appreciate one another and the team as a whole.
I take great satisfaction in my work, and while we each have distinct responsibilities, it is reassuring to know that my direct team is flexible and supportive when our tasks overlap. This collaborative spirit enhances our ability to work effectively together.
Cons
While no workplace is without its challenges, it can be disheartening when upper management does not address certain employees whose negative and toxic behaviors impact the team. Such individuals often seem to believe their conduct is acceptable, leading to an uncomfortable environment. For instance, there are occasions when specific team members enter the office using inappropriate language and sharing personal information about colleagues, and these behaviors go unaddressed. It is essential for leadership to take action to maintain a positive and respectful workplace culture. Additionally, there are frequent delays in communication from upper management, and at times, we receive insufficient direction when tasks arise. Consequently, when changes or corrections are needed, it often feels like we are not adequately prepared to complete assignments in a timely manner. This can lead to an increased workload and feelings of being overwhelmed.
