Pros

The US Office is a small business work environment. You get to know everyone and they like to socialize with outing, parties and pot luck lunchoens. The products the produce are high quality and easy to use. Some are industry leading and have a good loyal following. Large majority are fantatstic to work with and a small few are fake.

Cons

There is a clear and defined double standard within company with the in group and outsiders. You will see a select group take long tea breaks, long meetings that clear evolve into personal chat or extended outings from office without any ramifications. The rest have to account for every microsecond. There is a restriction on traveling and they shoe string the sales budget and expect the world. No Commission or perks from travel, everything must be booked so travel points all go to executive management. You have an extreme Tech Support role and it only allows about 5 to 7% of your time to cultivate sales unless on rare occation you can flip a support caller to a Star product. Way below standard pay structure about a 20 to 30K disparity. Any extra effort is never rewarded with raise, promotion or compensation. Place has the potential to be one of the best places you could ever work IF it was not for the office niche, drama and not having to what your back.

Pros

I have spent 10 minutes trying to think of a pro and I literally can’t think of one.

Cons

Terrible management and work environment. Awful pay and no incentives. I interned at Lascar in college and then was offered a full time position after graduation all the while my pay was never increased. Biggest mistake of my life was wasting two years here. There are a few good people but for the most part everyone is fake. The engineering manager used to lurk on the first floor every day instead of working in his office upstairs. I struggled to make many sales because there was no structure or strategy and he would make comments and act entitled. Showing up to work every day at Lascar Electronics was dreadful.
