Pros

The company requires you to do a lot of everything. You do get hands on experience on quite a few different aspects of what your job entails.

Cons

Projects and features developed in the company are never allowed to be fully developed. As soon as projects barely functions you are asked to move on to something else. This results in daily wildfire firefighting of issues that were never resolved. NOTHING is documented. Knowledge is passed across the campfire like some Neanderthal tribe. You're forced to work on a virtual machine that responds like you're on a dial up modem. Expect the text you type to show up eventually on your workstation.

Pros

Colleagues at the individual contributor level are capable and generally supportive.

Cons

Compensation is very low and difficult to live on long-term. Raises are infrequent and not tied to performance. Nepotism is prevalent, and advancement depends more on personal relationships than results. Leadership relies on outdated business practices and shows little interest in modernization. There is no effective HR function, limited accountability, and concerns raised by employees are often dismissed rather than addressed. Career progression is frequently discussed but rarely realized. Overall, opportunities for growth and stability are limited.
