Pros

Stable working environment with fairly predictable daily stress. Easy to find processes to improve during down time. The new CEO seems much more connected with lower levels of the organization. IT leadership is interested in bringing the company up to modern standards.

Cons

Lack of advancement among multiple tiers of the organization. Low flexibility in the work hours/environment. The benefits package was below-average with limited PTO offerings being a commonly referenced objection among staff. The company tech posture lags behind the industry.

Pros

Set hours. That's it, nothing else is good.

Cons

Where do we start? Well, I'll start with the fact that not one promise has been kept the entire I've been here. Management is extremely non-responsive, they will tell you they are "always working" but oddly never be in the office nor answer phone calls, texts or emails. They also expect work to be done with little to no training. Will call out certain employees for "breaking rules" while others do the exact same thing with no consequences. Arbitrarily will take back authority previously given without informing you, then enact just as arbitrary consequences for your misaction. Highly inappropriate conversations from management take place regularly, then they will turn around and talk about their "non-negotiables" which include things like "be open, honest and respectful." They do not put the safety of their employees first as they claim, they do not create an environment of "we are one team." They pit employees against one another, intentionally spread false information and pass judgment without getting all the details first. I could go on, but I think you can get the picture. Honestly, know that if you are a woman it's even worse for you here.
