Pros
- People: in comparison to other companies I've worked for, I haven't heard people gossiping about their colleagues as they're actually too busy doing their jobs. - Salary: at the end of the day salary is what we work for and I like that Landsec makes sure the pay is competitive - Culture: you are treated like an adult and trusted to do your job. Flexible working is available on request
Cons
- Bureaucracy: there are constant audits and multiple hoops/data regulations to jump through when sending a file to a provider, or even when just storing information which can be a pain. However, I'm aware that a lot of that is outside the company's control and is due to Landsec being in the FTSE 100 - Progression: not a lot of people leave. especially in senior management which makes progression difficult. Additionally, the requirements for a promotion are high which I'm not 100% sure is a bad thing - The high standards can lead to a less than ideal work-life balance
