almost no training whatsoever
extremely poor communication from management
you will be asked to do other people's jobs for what i can only assume is much, much less pay
speaking of pay, it's well well below industry standard for the role
understaffed, which is why you'll be doing the work of three or four other roles that wouldn't even be in the CS department in a real company
Having to play landlord to people just trying to get things fixed in their home (spoiler alert, no matter how many times you'll ask the property manager to take care of something they will ignore you!)
despite what they'll tell you in the job listing and in the interview AND after you've been hired, you WILL absolutely work weekends, You'll also have to beg to get consecutive days off while working those weekends several times. They will most likely ignore you.
the IT team is located in israel, which means nothing gets worked on during normal US hours, which means dealing with irate app users. (nothing gets worked on during their hours either, mad respect to them for doing little to no work and collecting a paycheck)
Dishonesty seems to be part and parcel with working there. Was told I was getting airpods, and that they had shipped and would be arriving within a few days. After a week and a half was told there was a "problem" and that I'll be getting different headphones (that I had to buy an adaptor for, bc nobody knows what theyre doing at this place) like lol, you clearly never ordered the airpods you cant cancel something that's been shipped! This is just one of the biggest examples, but there were many, many more instances of this kinda thing.
biggest con of all is that the platform is a gigantic scam so that you too can be one of the most despised classes of people, so you get absolutely braindead finance bros asking you to raise the rent on someones home bc they arent making enough money on their investment, Just bottom of the barrel, the absolute rot of humanity in general.
Basically don't work here for peanuts, go find a CS job that pays you what you're worth.
