The workplace environment at Lakeba was quite challenging, marked by a consistent hostile atmosphere that felt both suppressive and discouraging. The leadership is centred around the Porcelli family, whose approach was not conducive to a healthy, collaborative work environment. It's hard to thrive professionally or personally when feeling undermined by a narcissistic father figure, a judgemental mother figure, and a bully of a son. There seems to be a tendency to take advantage of international workers by providing them with visa sponsorships but treating them poorly. The company should prioritize worker welfare and dignity above profits.
