Pros

Pays well if you negotiate with the boss/owner well. And yes they have benefits and insurance, so that's good.

Cons

Too many to list, but I'll name a few and seriously....the ones that I list are only a few. -Owner is super sneaky. He comes across as an intelligent guy in the interview, but he's like a big kid. Says one thing to your face and another behind your back. When you try and talk to him about something that concerns you....he really doesn't care. -He has one guy in the shop that runs the show and he tells you the truth about how everything goes down there. And he has one guy out in the field who runs the show. The Field guy...you want to become best friends with...because he's the owner's protege and anything you say in a negative tone about him to the owner....the owner will tell him like a 12 year old little girl. -Communication at this company is pretty much everyone talking behind everyone's back. -The Owner is super cheap and if you break a tool...good luck on him replacing it. The shop machines are from 1902 and barely work. The Welding machines are also a joke! This company posts ads on Craigslist and other job boards every other day because the guys they hire are smart and once they figure out how things operate...they're gone. -Oh and watch your hours you write down on your time card and if I were you...I would ALWAYS clock in, clock out and then take a picture of your time card with your phone because some how they lose/misplace your time card and then write down any old hours for you and then its your word against theirs with the hours that you worked. Trust me...these people are sneaky and have no morals
