It’s business to business selling, they say you could be a manager after 4 weeks what they don’t tell you right away is that you have to make 3 sales a week to even be considered for management. 3 sales of cell phone service is not easy to do. They don’t really train you much, and when they do it’s only 2 hours a day or so on a sales pitch you have to memorize. They literally throw you out to sale on your first day, and by your 4th your by yourself selling.
Dont get hurt on the job they don’t do anything, only give you meds, unless your there for 90 days when you get Aflac.
They say it’s 200% commission or a base pay plus 40% commision, but they don’t tell you that that commision is based on the type of people you sell to.
Training is NOT paid! You get a bonus when you make your first sale, and when you make your fifth, but don’t expect to be compensated when you aren’t selling yourself like the first week.
You use your own car, be prepared to have a lot of wear and tear on your car and use a lot of gas! They can send you up to 45 minutes away to sell depending on where your mentor decides is a good area for you. you can’t leave straight from that area, you have to go back to the office to turn in your numbers, then you can go home. But if your territory is closer to home it’s backtracking and using more gas.
If you want to make decent living money, you have to work from 8-7:30 selling. Which means your family (or kids) loses time with you, and most of that is going right back into your car.
High turnover, a manager told me that she doesn’t remember anyone if they don’t make it past the first day.
If you are good at sales, and are physically fit to walk everywhere for 9 hours a day, and don’t have bills to pay so that you can do without being paid for the first week you work, this job is for you!!
