Pros

Airline miles and traveling to new destinations

Cons

Micromanagement from operations managers; promotions and recognition is given based on personality and not on skill level; operations managers do not actively coach consultants; employees in EMEA are offered a role as independent contractors, but are then forced to work full time without sick pay or holiday pay. All consultants in the region are employed as contractors, and are then also forced to follow company culture in certain situations convenient to management, but then told in other situations that they are independent contractors. Very contradicting. There is no advancement within the group and no team spirit. The Deloitte company culture is miles away...

Pros

I have worked at a lot of crappy jobs and I feel incredibly blessed to find such a great home here at LRA. I have been working here for the past 5 years and I am truly happy. I work in the Horsham office and they really only hire nice people. I have the ability to work from home, so being a working parent is not a problem. the benefits are great. Deloitte really has some great programs... like 6 months paid family leave for men and women! we also get up to $500 to spend on wellness (ie gym memberships). We get new work cell phones and new laptops every 2 years.

Cons

I have always been a top performer, but I do not feel my pay is reflecting that. We relieve yearly raises and sometimes bonus', but it is never more than 3%.

Pros

If you have no commitments at home, it's nice to travel. But most of the locations were kind of crappy small towns unless you're on a bigger account.

Cons

Definitely no room for internal growth even if you were a high performer. Easier for them to train external new hires on an account than switch you over to a new account and hire to replace you.
