Pros
There are some good people here but they are held back because they are not a part of the old boys club who runs things. The firm has produced some very impressive works: Benaroya Hall, the Vancouver Convention Center, etc.
Cons
One would think an architecture firm would be a cool place to work considering all the creativity and thinking that goes into the profession. Alas, it was a major disappointment. Top heavy with overcompensated and smug old white men as partners, a severe lack of overall leadership, and a credible lack of vision are what cripple this firm. Despite the great buildings they have built, they have past their prime and are struggling to adjust to a new economy that no longer wants or needs grand halls, theatres, institutions, or other large scale projects. It's about relevance people, not reputation.
