Pros

great if you want to waste your career and go nowhere

Cons

they brainwash you into believing that they have the best team and great people to learn from, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. in reality, every competent person they managed to attract has voluntarily quit. Everyone who remains is working with 9-5 results and pissed. so if you stay, you'll likely end up just like them. don’t confuse movement for momentum. management creates a false sense of busyness to maintain the illusion that everyone is hard at work. this has been going on for years, with a relentless focus on menial tasks, pointless chores, and endless meetings devoted to discussing “how are we going to waste our time today?” Why else haven’t they released a game yet? And if the game they’re building is ever finished, given they way they are operating will it ever become profitable? you may think you’re learning, but in reality, you’re being conditioned to become a more stupid NPC. something you’ll only recognize if you are fortunate to work with a winning team. they constantly talk about "first principles thinking" but ironically no one in the company does it in practice. don’t bother correcting them because you’re just a low IQ in their eyes. whatever they believe is right almost always turns out to be wrong. they’ll expect effort from you, but put in very little effort when they ask you to do the task so your hard work won’t deliver the results you expect. you’re nothing but a mercenary here, but that’s okay because you’ll end up enjoying the fake work that gets done in this place.

Pros

Fun place to work that does not feel like work. Focused and dedicated founders that want you to be better and push you to be better in a great way. Friendly employees that are really good to work with. Productive and enjoyable both remote and in office. Working at Lila has greatly improved my skill. It has been a fun and excellent experience that I hope everyone in the gaming industry gets to experience!

Cons

Non off the top of my head. Maybe more chips in the snack area.

Pros

- Get to work on multiple pipelines (cause requirement kept changing) - Cross team exploration - Colleagues (90% of them have been fired so not anymore)

Cons

- No respect towards people - CEO is racist - Overworked- 56hours a week- 6 days a week and wants to implement 9-9-6 (which has to be illegal) - HR manipulates market study to low blow you - Management is not mature with decision making, PMs are not from Game Development background- They call shots and call it "logical" - Efficiency=Speed and not number of hours spent in office, clearly proof of your game not launching - Wouldnt recommend anybody to work under such a CEO with no vision of growth and stability, CEO is a tyrannt and weirdly keeps saying "I'm going to torture you to success". - Company had mass lay off cause budget cut with no product to make money in hand - CCO and CTO left the company, its just CEO and his 3 PMs making it work, not nice people to work with either. (Havent played alot of games to make games) - Missed out on basic of pre-production of game and directly jumped to making a game with no proper Game Directory for 4years and then canned the game.
