One of the biggest things that frustrated me about this place was the constant contradictions on policies. I was working in AP and was told by management only to submit an employee expense report if I had the original receipts and every item was accounted for. I had an expense report that only had faxed copies and was missing a few items on the cover sheet. I emailed the employee and said I needed originals but he never responded. A few weeks passed and then I was asked why I was holding onto and when I explained I was told I needed originals everyone looked at me like that had never been mentioned before. My supervisor then told me to turn in an expense report back to the staff accountant if it was incomplete. The next time that happened and it I took the staff accountant her response was "I don't want it." Logic also appears to be something lacking at this company. When a property was in the process of being closed for the month the staff accountants were for some reason incapable of composing a simple email stating "I'm in the process of closing this property please don't post anything else" Instead they preferred for AP people to come up every 5 minutes and constantly ask if a property was sill open
