Pros

The company operates as a full in-house marketing and advertising agency, offering excellent benefits and opportunities to work with well-established clients.

Cons

There are significant organizational challenges, as the company does not function as described during the interview process. Established processes are lacking, favoritism is evident, and overall structure needs improvement. While the company is working towards a broader vision, it must first develop more efficient day-to-day operations. Also there is a high employee turnover rate.

Pros

The agency offers a wide range of marketing services across multiple departments and specialties, which creates strong learning opportunities. Because the client portfolio is so diverse, you are constantly exposed to different industries, campaign types, and client needs. It’s an environment where you can gain broad experience quickly and develop a well-rounded understanding of marketing operations.

Cons

The organization lacked structure and consistency during my time there. Since the company operates as a collection of smaller businesses under one umbrella, workflows and communication between teams often felt disconnected. Processes changed frequently, sometimes even around basic operational tasks like file organization and internal systems, which created confusion and inefficiency. Management culture was also challenging. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism and collaboration in certain areas, and at times it felt more important to fit socially within specific groups than to focus on strong teamwork and operational effectiveness. Early on, hearing leadership openly express to a client frustration about hiring support staff because they rather do the work themselves than hire a coordinator to work with left a negative impression and made the work environment feel less supportive than expected. Overall, while the agency provided exposure to a variety of work, the lack of structure, professionalism, and cohesive leadership made it the most difficult agency environment I’ve experienced.
