Pros
There's no real perks here but they have free food, small bonuses, slick and fancy marketing, and smart colleagues.
Cons
Kymeta has taken a huge amount of funding from investors and has done very little with it. I've been here for 3 years, and they have yet to show customers a promising product that actually works. The management from IV is beyond inexperienced. It is completely clueless... it is painful. And yes, there's a bully that treats people like dirt and do not care at all about the consequences of their actions. This company breeds those types because it does not know how to hire truly competent people/leaders. The HR leadership has stood and watched this kind of behavior for years and have done absolutely nothing about it, because their priority does not lie with the employees but with themselves. In all honesty, most employees in the company often wonder what they do all day. It is truly sad to come to work and watch this every day. This company is also extremely hierarchical. If you're not a senior director or a VP you're pretty much out of the loop, as there is very little communication. C levels are usually very friendly and seem to care, but act as if they had no power because they continue to let these individuals with no talent progress in the company.
