Cons
This is not a company. It is a front to lead you down a road they do not tell you until you are officially "in" and when you are it is all lies and nothing but a pyramid scheme. I regrettably left my job to join this fake promise and not only was a steep learning curve for me but could not believe there are companies out there exploiting people to work ridiculous hours! It says 10am-6pm (no chance!) They meet around 9-9:30am and will work you until 7-8pm at night knocking on doors trying to sell better insurance on electricity and gas bills. You spend your first 1-2 hours in meetings and learning a script which some people I worked with had learnt off by heart and felt so controlling, fake and wrong. You do this SIX days a week, 10-11 hours a day and ALL commission, no base hourly pay and although they say it is unlimited commission, they feed you rubbish such as law of averages which makes you believe you can earn depending how hard you work when actually it is pure luck. Every 100 doors you knock on to "potentially" have 1 sale like when I went. When you go in a team which you do, your colleague may get the sale, they get that commission (roughly £30) and you get nothing so it is all a gamble. I honestly cannot stress the risk involved in a company like this, not just for your career but your health. A job with uncertainty throughout, no contract, no guaranteed wage after working 60 hours and fed a mountain of lies. I feel so sorry for people who work with companies like this and may feel trapped. I am so glad I got out when I did. It is important to state there is nothing wrong with business ventures when it is your own business, you know the risks, you know what you have to do to earn and what you need. Kyanite is everything wrong with what business should be/ You work in any weather imaginable, hours upon hours of door knocking and whenever you do make a sale, you make £30 and the higher ups who sit on their backside all day get a slice too. Please stay away and volunteer at a charity shop or somewhere where your time will be valued and you are making a positive difference, at least you will not be wasting your time like with these Pyramid companies. I would give 0 stars for everything if I could.
