The company is about as stable and secure as one could be. The majority of people are kind. The ownership makes a commitment to genuinely understand and care for the coworkers.
Cons
I work in the La Crosse office. Kwik Trip is growing consistently every year without adding the support staff necessary to perform the work that accompanies such growth. There are many employees in important positions who are delightful people but unqualified to perform their jobs well. The company pays lip service to innovation and excellence, but any new ideas need to go through so many layers of long tenured "that's not how we've done it" thinking. The belief is that when the company is making 100 million in revenue, we must be doing everything right, while we're mostly coasting off the footprint Don built and the lack of any real competition.
