Pros

Long tenured employees that can help answer questions on why things are the way they are. Good facility. Interesting programs.

Cons

Korry a Transdigm™ company has the guise of being a small individual company that all major decisions are made inside the company. This is not true. Korry a Transdigm™ company is held to a very strict "plan" by Transdigm that cannot be changed after submittal (done at the beginning of the fiscal year). This was true even for the pandemic. This meant that profits at the company stayed high but 300 of 700 employees have been laid off in the last year during 3 separate layoffs. The current situation at Korry a Transdigm™ is that every employee is now doing at least two people's jobs and even three at times. Hours are long for all employees pay increases are low and the company has now also got rid of bonuses. Benefits have gotten more expensive since the Transdigm acquisition two years ago. Would not recommend working here and I can't think of anyone else who would recommend working here except maybe the HR employee or senior staff member who wrote the most recent review. A bigger emphasis was placed on St. Patricks day (emails, catered coffee, a raffle) than MLK day (not a single company email about it.).

Pros

Plenty of interesting challenges that need expert level quality engineering solutions.

Cons

The number of challenges exceed the hours in the day needed to solve those challenges.

Pros

Good Salary, work with some very smart driven people, easy commute. Part of a publicly traded company and TDG is fairly hands off, would reccommend working for TDG.

Cons

Management here is toxic. As an example, they have approximately 23% turnover this year (without even having layoffs) and had abysmal employee survey results, but their ONLY plan to respond to this was to make all employees attend another mandatory training. Despite repeated suggestions for more information from employees. They say they value transparency, but they do not. The keys to success in this place are to be a white man, or be willing to never disagree with the white men who are upper management. Anyone with a V in their title should be regarded with a dose of suspicion because they can and will throw you under the bus if they have to / want to. HR will not protect you at all here. Be prepared to work long hours, there is not enough staff in any team and even when goals are met you will just be given more "stretch" / impossible goals to meet and told it was not enough.
