Pros

Free meal voucher for lunch everyday Commuter benefits (expensed parking garage or MBTA)

Cons

I did not work here for that long and for good reason. Korro was at a weird stage when I was employed by them as they were prepping to make an eventual IPO, a major accomplishment for any biotech startup. This is coupled with vast company growth as research needs for the company exponentially grew. However, due to the large workforce, it created no room for visibility and opportunity to take ownership over work. The people who were initial hires were extremely cliquey and did not take well to newcomers which created a bad working environment filled with discomfort and friction. My team was small comparative to other teams at the company, but the person in charge of the team was too senior (in my opinion) to be managing and then shafted management responsibilities to a senior scientist - which created a bottleneck of miscommunication and then deliverables not being met. However, when this occurred blame was projected onto the junior team members and no accountability from the managers was ever present.
