Pros
They had free food. The staff were fun. The story they tell their staff and clients sounds good.
Cons
Their story is a lie. Both the clients and staff are lied to/misled! Koozai are misleading their clients by implying that they are a company that invest in their [expert] employees. While the staff appear to be confirming this, employees are coerced into speaking on video and writing positive comments on social media. Need proof? The staff turnover is so fast that their marketing videos never match the team page. Need further proof: take a look at the Koozai team page on the Internet Archive "WaybackMachine" and see the turnover for yourself. or compare the team photos with the current staff. Koozai staff turnover: While I did feel that Koozai's employees were friendly, the staff members rarely reach the end of their probation. This appears to be deliberate. How Koozai mislead/scam their clients: Think you have a dedicated expert on your account? Think again! While I worked as an employee, Koozai secretly shared roles with newcomers (who often had no digital marketing experience — check their LinkedIn profiles) and were asked to mimic the reports of the staff-member on the account — to fool/mislead the clients (the clients are paying full-price for an employee who may have never seen the back-end of a website in their life!). Another way Koozai scam their clients: During my time there, Koozai staff were asked to leave out any details on reports which could look bad and concentrate on tasks that make them look busy, rather than those which would likely benefit the client's website. Reports are prioritised over research and strategy, while process is prioritised over a customised approach. My advice: If you are looking for a job, they are hiring! (they always are!) If you are looking for a digital agency, keep looking! This Koozai review is based on my own experiences while employed by Koozai. Everything written in this review of Koozai was accurate at the time of my employment.
