Amazing culture - Presales Engineer Kontent.ai Employee Review

I have only been with Kontent US for a short time, but I came from a job where I felt isolated and discouraged all the time, and from my first day at Kontent I have felt like I have support from my managers and my team as well as room to be able to grow and improve myself. Kontent US is in a period of growth and change as they work to establish Kontent.AI as a separate product and brand from Kentico. For the first time in a long time I feel that I have coworkers who care about me and my ability to succeed and who are open to hearing my thoughts and ideas. Kontent also offers an excellent health plan and generous PTO.

Establishing as a separate brand is a big challenge that requires lots of fast changes and comes with ups and downs. This is my third role working in a young company that is growing and establishing, and it can be challenging since it often takes some trial and error to figure out the strategy and the team that is going to work best.

This job is for you if you want to be with a dying company with no upside.

The culture is toxic. The leadership is out of touch with the customers. The product is not competitive and overpriced. You can count on one hand the number of sales they closed in the U.S. in 2023. This shows you how out of touch they are with the market. In addition, they do not provide variable compensation even though they kept saying this was coming.
