Pros
Competitive pay, it's how they get you
Cons
1. High turnover - three NYC employees all left within 1 year of their hire, along with two who had been with the company for 3 years. Previously, the entire NY estimating team had been let go. Nearly the entire NYC office staff has cycled out apart from leadership. 2. Heavy micromanaging culture, they keep track of how many emails you send as a measure of productivity 3. Internal processes are old, inefficient, and yet resistant to change. Internal employee resource groups are a false hope. They're led each led by the cushy, out-of-touch upper management who don't allow for actual change and pressure you into making suggestions that conform to the culture. 4. Sexist culture, I feel bad for the women in our office. There are often inappropriate comments made. Two women have left already. 5. The NYC office is led by management that feigns friendliness and competence to leadership in the FL headquarters, but actually runs a toxic business unit in NYC.
