Just an FYI, everyone who has posted a simple 5* review has been instructed too by senior management via internal comms - I have evidence of this too. Hence why all the positive comments have the same ‘no cons’ comment.
I have previously worked in Kodland and it is the worst company I have ever worked in.
Firstly the CEO has very little clue on how to run the business and makes impulsive decisions based on how he gets along with staff. Managing director is more of a salesperson who aims to sell false hope and will happily point out your ‘failures’ at weekly meetings in front of fellow colleagues as opposed to professionally providing feedback. Neither are professionally accredited individuals.
Anyone can be promoted without qualification and any sort of formal interview process. As well as demoted or fired without reason.
There’s no legality involved, no tutors who work with children require a DBS check so your child has no safety or security - nor do they inform parents that the session will be recorded. Personal data is also not stored following GDPR guidelines.
There is no professional structure, internal communication platform, no staff benefits as everyone is self-employed. No sense of staff morale and there was a flat HR team so no manager to guide us.
It’s a draining, dehumanising hell hole to work in and would absolutely never recommend to anyone. It will not better your skill set, but will most certainly destroy your mental health.
