Pros
Benefits are good, got a 401(k) in the last couple years finally. Leadership is really flexible and supportive of you whenever life throws you a curve ball. There are definitely things that need improvement in terms of work environment and inter-team communication protocols and expectations. But overall, a really enjoyable place to work.
Cons
There seems to be a leftover expectation from some people who interact with the engineering team frequently from when the company was smaller that the engineering team members will just dive into every problem at any hour of the day, regardless of who is actually oncall. It can take a fair bit of pushback to make these people understand that it's not an oncall issue and that you'll take care of it in the morning. Sometimes, there's a large amount of pressure to start and finish a project that isn't as well defined as it needs to be.
