Pros

I am being 100% honest when I highlight that this workplace has no pros. It has plenty of cons, though.

Cons

The training was a joke. It wasn’t sufficient and didn’t prepare me for anything. The expectations were insanely high, and they wanted me to perform miracles. It was ridiculous. Please avoid working here if you have another opportunity. Things are too chaotic and messed up here.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear your experience with training and expectations was so frustrating -- that’s not the experience we want anyone to have, and we take your comments seriously. As a smaller company, we’ve definitely faced constraints around formal training, especially during periods of rapid change. Your feedback is valid, and it’s helping shape how we improve. As we continue to grow and hire, we’re placing more focus on building a stronger onboarding process that better prepares new team members for success. We’ve also started a company-wide performance review and growth process using Lattice, which creates clearer expectations, more consistent feedback, and better support for employee development. Thanks again for sharing your experience -- and for the time you spent at Kobiton. We wish you the best in your next role.

Pros

The only pros this company had were the few people that all agreed that leadership would never get it together. Knowing that someone else was there and shared the same distrust in leaderships ability kept many people together watching out for each other. That an unlimited PTO The people that were not married to the job that you can have a conversation with, without them cringing about you taking care of your work life balance

Cons

Removed phone and internet reimbursement then mandated everyone to come into the office if local with no pay raise, no compensation for gas/travel Reduced in office lunch to one day a week Got rid of the hawks season pass Condescending leadership and people ops Shut up and do your and their work leadership mentaility Favoritism was something that was not hidden in the company and people who might have been hired were more than likely related to or a friend of leadership No upward movement if you were not already in leadership or friends with leadership No transparency in where the company was financially or with clients No honesty of sort from leadership who would try to throw people under the bus when someone talked logically about why something would not work I could add plenty of things but the company is not even on a leg anymore. Hopefully those left find work and enjoy their holiday

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While it’s difficult to hear, we take all input seriously and continue to work toward building a stronger and more transparent company culture. I shared some of your comments during an all-employee meeting this week as areas we are not proud of and are actively working to improve. One of the biggest challenges in the past was financial transparency, but now that we are profitable, it has become much easier to share financial information with our employees. We also recognize concerns around favoritism and career growth. To address this, we’ve implemented individual-level metrics with clear incentives, making performance results quantifiable and reducing subjectivity in decision-making. Additionally, over the past six weeks, we have signed four new logos and have begun hiring employees, each with measurable performance goals and incentive plans to ensure fairness and opportunity for growth. We understand that past decisions have impacted team morale, and while we cannot change the past, we remain focused on creating a culture where employees feel valued and rewarded based on their contributions. We appreciate your perspective and hope that those who remain continue to see improvements. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
