Work/life balance is good and is flexible.

company is its own worst enemy most of the time. doesn't pay. mgmt is sort of a mess.

They throw a great concert.

So many fails w/ upper management in the venue; quite sad really. I put 12 years in and the final GM to run the venue at the end of my time was an atrocious mistake for a leader. The type of person who takes credit for others’ accomplishments and ideas as his own work and creation. The type to hyper- delegate to where it was a constant question for the rest of management as to what his executive tasks actually were (aside from going out of his way to hire carpet cleaners to spruce the place up before corporate flew into town and being present for *maybe* 5 hours during a show/event day). He made some very poor mistakes, including putting the entire staff out of work for several months. Thereby needing to cancel every concert, tour, private event or profit generating opportunity in the Boise market. His negligence and poor judgment caused the place to literally burn and require severe, months long renovations. I can’t imagine the compounded stress it caused artists, families and staff. A friend I contracted as wedding client during my position ended up being affected -it was a hot mess of stress for them to start all over.
