Is this your company?

It's okay sometimes, but not livable - Designated Player Knighted Gaming Employee Review

Pros

Immediate managers are generally nice and considerate. Higher-ups, not so much. Pay is decent if you start young, but terrible if you're older and have to pay rent and real bills. Can be a fun job with a fun atmosphere at times.

Cons

Pay is too low for the job itself. It's not anything close to a liveable wage. Higher-ups don't care about employees. Insanely high turn-over rate. Slow PTO accrual. Doctor's notes don't excuse an absence if you are sick for only one or two days. Annoying people sometimes. Rude people sometimes. No break room. Getting holiday pay as a day-shifter is near-impossible unless you waste your time coming in on a day you're supposed to be off. Holiday pay doesn't even apply to all government holidays. Moving up in the company requires you to sell your soul and lose the privilege of a healthy work schedule.

Pros

You sit and do math all day

Cons

Dealers try to date designated players like its culture. Senior associates and higher ups are not professional. Rules only apply to who they want it to. High favoritism. The higher ups are immature and gossip in group chats about employees. higher ups told me people of color don’t make it far at this job around my first week of starting. They will fire you for no reason. You do not have to do anything wrong or fail any test to get fired. They will fire you if they grow to not like your personality
