Pros
Simple, low pressure as long as you are ok with going to work to get to the job done and not socialize. I always enjoyed my time at Kmart and was able to work across all departments. I am thankful for the opportunities I was given.
Cons
Same as anywhere, management can vary, bad managers and the store is a shambles, good managers and everything is smooth. If you don’t want a job where you will be told what to do and expected to work, then don’t work in retail at all.
