Pros

Kipsu used to be a fun workplace and could be again with major changes. The employees are supportive and collaborative despite the difficult circumstances created by severe executive mismanagement. The only strong benefits are unlimited PTO and good health insurance.

Cons

Chronic overpromising to customers leads to significant delays and a near perpetual crisis mode with one customer or another. I’m constantly missing my kids’ events because Kipsu leaders have no idea how to commit to a realistic workload for the number of people at the company. Severe burnout and extreme workloads are common in every department. Though Kipsu basically forces us to prioritize work over our families, we receive little in return: below-average pay (by leadership’s own admission), subpar benefits (aside from PTO and insurance), strict in-office requirements (they now monitor when employees come and go), and we are severely lacking in enough resources to do our jobs. Kipsu seems to value leaders who sweat the minutia, micromanage others, and pretend like everything is going really well. Kipsu is the kind of company that loves to hold meetings worrying about the placement of the deck chairs on the Titanic and then doesn't finish arranging them until the Titanic is already on the ocean floor. A damning reflection of how Kipsu is managed.
