Pros

Stockholm team is much better. Company has lot of activities..and propagate diversity!

Cons

London office of King: culture and people Dirty politics: Part of the company is against the other half of the company. Very politically manupaltive leadership. Senior roles can be toxic as leadership works on one principal 'my way or high way' and the decisions are top down, with game teams not having much of decision making power. Weak Product team: Weakest product mangers (or Business Performance Mangers as they are referred inside the company) I have come across. Also company spends lot of time and money and they are very good with Data collection, unfortunately they don't know how to use data! Fun fact: the product managers don't commit to KPI goals before releasing a feature in a live game instead they say ' measuring success is dependent on how it performs' one launched' Corrupt HR: one cannot trust to go to HR for help and support, as they are all corrupt!

Pros

The office is located in a good place and the perks are great. We're paid higher than market average (read below though)

Cons

King is losing itself to the Microsoft/ money making machine. The thought for staff has almost vanished, and despite them throwing money at the teams in terms of perks, the general feeling is a very glum one. Teams are burning out, and no matter how many re-orgs they make, they don't seem to listen to the teams on how to improve efficiency over their desire to make more money. The DE&I teams have been stripped clean and now more of a token than a functioning part of the culture.
