benefits: 0 … no meal vouchers, no medical insurance, they used to offer 6 return tickets (1 for Christmas staff party, 1 for summer staff party and 4 you could arbitrary pick) but as they grow they thought of cutting these down to 2 but last Christmas - due to lockdown restrictions, they said - they did not get us any ticket even if you were travelling before and after the lockdown period so we had to spend a fortune do get tickets last minute. career prospects: nonexistence … there are no short/long term objectives you agree upon before with your line manager. They pretend to review your performance but, even though the client is very happy and you are a top performer, they will never share the client feedback with you hence they can come up with any excuse to keep your score low as a pay rise depends on your average score over 2 years period. When you resign, they put on a charade pretending they want to change your mind offering more money. And if you ask for a pay rise they are like: “how dare you?!”. The truth is: they do not care considering there are hundreds of newly graduated they lure in participating at career fairs/recruiting events promising a beautiful work environment and great working conditions. That only lasts as long as a honeymoon. managers: inexperienced … a few of them actually worked before they were offered the role when the business was formed but they knowledge is out-of-date and they do not have any empathy. Then there are those who acts like they care about you but they still have to enforce company’ policies. company’ policies: too many … as they grow, they became greedier so they cut the perks they used to offer (i.e. the return tickets). In order to do that, they came up with “company’ policies” which were immediately enforced - we were never given 90 days to accept the new conditions or leave, as I would have thought. Is that even legal?
