Pros
Keystone is the definition of a good company making the best of a bad situation. Private EMS is a rough business to begin with. Is Keystone the best? No, we have older equipment and trucks that need some TLC. But they care about their employees. During the pandemic they got the best equipment they could and had strict protocols to keep us safe. They appreciate us and are vocal about it. The dispatchers do their best to get us home to our families. The managers and employees are friendly with everyone. They keep the pay competitive so their employees don't have to work second jobs. I've had offered from other companies for the same pay and turned them down. Keystone's scheduling is also the most flexible of any job I've worked. I'm full time and they are pretty great about letting me switch a day here and there when I need to so I can be with my family.
