Pros
There are some amazing people on the team. The checks cleared. Learned a lot about the industry I was hired to recruit in with no prior experience in that field.
Cons
Taken from previous review and the sentiment is echoed. "People are not highly valued. Whoever is making the most money is the most valued. Constantly driving the numbers is the number one priority. Contingency searches are the most common form of search; not retained. Almost everyone is discouraged and angry at the inconsistencies in policy and the negative culture." The company is truly lost in it's direction. I use the term "still building the plane while it's already flying". Mostly, because the company doesn't seem to know how to react to a down month. One month where things don't go as planned and they're ready to burn everything to the ground and re-build. They want consistency from recruiters but there is none shown from management. Company has "supposed" SOP's in place which are ignored by the most successful people there. As long as there is money coming in, the company doesn't care these people ignore the SOP. Company only cares about generating income. There is no career or professional development offered. The will bait you in with a higher than usual base salary (that they honestly can't afford to pay out) with extremely low commissions offered. I was given an extremely thorough interview from one owner that really made me thing this would be my next long-term company. I was very selective in the offers I had and, this seemed like the best one. In the end, it was everything I was afraid it was going to be and I regret accepting their offer.
