Pros
The development team here is fantastic—smart, professional, and great to work with. The company also puts a strong emphasis on customer service, which creates a positive and supportive work environment if you interface with customers. On top of that, the dog-friendly office and team lunches are nice perks, and you get the opportunity to collaborate with some really impressive companies.
Cons
Compensation isn’t competitive and doesn’t reflect employees’ experience or expertise. There’s also no clear path for career growth, which can be frustrating as more seniors are hired. Leadership, particularly the CEO often disregards the experience and insights of the team. Communication and collaboration from the top could use a lot of improvement. Management also relies on outdated and unprofessional techniques, like closely tracking employees’ hours rather than focusing on results and openly criticizing people in front of others, which creates an uncomfortable work environment.
