Small office, little unorganized

Excellent place to break into finance with the firm having currently a commitment to interns with degrees in non-finance fields and career changers. Among the analysts and associates that work there, some interesting qualifications and backgrounds: CFA, programming, realty, management consultants - this helps with a broad range of knowledge while conducting projects in a range of industries. Much of the work is around origination and cold pitches.

Internships are unpaid, yet the expectation is still there that you will work on weekends and late into the early hours of the morning to complete work. The management is sometimes not clear on the direction of pitches and that can lead to alot of unfocused work.
