Pros

- work from home is nice - If you really don't care about the job or anything, alot of people get away with doing practically nothing for a very long time. Personally I don't see that last one as pros, but others may

Cons

I worked for the Apple work from home project under Kelly Connect for a number of years and was promoted to a leadership role a couple of years ago. Yesterday they scheduled a meeting for about 50 to 60 of us (QCs, TLs, and Supervisors). During this meeting they locked everyone's microphones, and blocked all chat communications in the WebEx meeting while they read a stock statement saying we were all being terminated from the position. He also mentioned that while choosing who to let go due to downsizing, our performance was reviewed which was why we were selected. Now if they said "We are downsizing and you were randomly chosen" I would have been more understanding since this is all under a "temporary agreement" and they constantly remind us "We can terminate you at any time" (great for morale right?). The problem was, For years I have received monthly acknowledgements that I held the highest metrics for my position in my Line of Business. I also assisted Site Managers, Supervisors, and other leaders on a daily basis with work that I wasn't responsible for. In the number of years with the company I only called in one day (early on, never missed a day once I was promoted to leadership). And comparing my stats against others in my position, most of them accomplish less than half of what I did on any given day. This is an anonymous post and I'm not saying any of this to say "Hey I'm awesome", no. The point here is that they terminated a large amount of positions, and were in no way honest about it. There is absolutely no way that I was terminated due to "performance". Also, one of the other leaders in a different role than I was terminated in this group, and she did so much more work and cared more than a number of the people they kept on. (I can say for a fact that a number of people they kept, aren't even sitting at their computer most of the day. Kelly uses Microsoft Teams for communication purposes on the Apple project, which in itself is amusing but my point here is that the away symbol shows up in Teams when your screen saver comes on... and some of these people they kept on the project are on 'away' status 90% of the day.) Another leader, she was an incredible supervisor, they canned with no comments after she worked there for much longer than I. Those are just a couple of examples out of a number of people that they terminated for 'performance reasons' while keeping on a large number of incompetent people. Now I'm rambling, so Long story short what I'd like to state is that working for Apple under Kelly Connect really wasn't terrible at first. But know what you're agreeing to before working there. They will remind you that you're worthless and disposable at regular intervals. And you will pay for their mistakes. (Example, throughout all of 2020, they kept stating "We're growing so big through our contract with Apple, we're going to keep expanding and hiring new people" ... then here we are, halfway through 2021, they terminated a large amount of people with absolutely zero warning, in the coldest way possible, and lied about their reasoning... all to fix their own mistakes). When the company decides to terminate a T1 Advisor position, they will call them into a room and talk to them face to face, or even call the advisor on the phone. All 50+ leaders they terminated, there was no call, no face to face, no one-on-one, just a call from HR after that horrible meeting. And the HR person said the same words to everyone they called (When I questioned my HR person, she told me they were all told what to say and to blame our 'performance' but that she didn't actually have any information on why we were all terminated) As a leader we were responsible with working with Advisors every day, and some of these advisors had minimal reading comprehension, are very miserable and rude, don't care, and might show up 2 days every other week. It was impossible to terminate these advisors, it would take months and repeat documented warnings. But for myself and other leaders that showed up every day doing great work, we were terminated without warning. Side note: We had regular meetings with direct Apple employees and those were pretty amusing to sit through. Most of the time everyone just seemed so dead inside, responding to everything with generic answers. Any sense of that Apple Ecosystem or personalization is just an idea they are selling you to overcharge for your products. One last point: After years of being in leadership, the HR person I spoke with said I'm free to reapply for a T1 position on the same project! This wouldn't have been so ridiculous if they came to us in person and said "Hey, so we need to downsize and sadly you were one of the random people selected. We do apologize, would you be interested in taking another role within the company that we do have room for until your position opens up again?" TLDR: If you're looking for a job that you can show up to and get paid to get away with doing what you want while not caring about the job, go for it! This is the job for you. If you're looking for a job that you can feel comfortable and know that effort you're putting into the company will be appreciated, this is not the job for you. Other Cons: - Benefits and insurance options are terrible (I purchased my own elsewhere the entire time)

Pros

Virtual, work from home position. The pay was great, the hours were great, they work with you and are very flexible, can always pick up shifts if you have under 40 hours, (you're scheduled 40 hours but if you miss a day that week) you can pick up another shift from the board

Cons

There aren't any cons that I can think of at this time.
