Pros
Work from your home office, a great perk. Keentech provides any equipment needed to work from home. Field work is dispatched based on your location and skillset. Any required equipment is shipped directly to your home office.
The technicians are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We are a complete team and are great at supporting one another. We share knowledge and help each other grow.
Management is always available (by your request) to provide constructive feedback on the growth of your career and are quite accommodating. They provide fair compensation, a nice benefits package, and are flexible with employee needs. They are more than happy to get training for employees and advance their skillset as per the technicians needs / requests.
We also have weekly tech only meetings to ensure communication between the team is functioning and that there are no dropped balls.
ConnectWise ticketing system is in use which really helps keep tickets under control, especially when paired up with our company policies regarding ticket handling.
Cons
Sometimes I find I feel a little disconnected when working from home full time when you don't see colleagues or management in person regularly, however this isn't really a Keentech issue but rather just a work from home issue in general.
This was more an issue when we first started working from home as it was a major adjustment, but now that I have a year or two of it under my belt it is much easier to not allow myself to feel down on my contributions and to get re-assurance when needed that things are going well. This is likely just a personal thing inside my brain as I tend to doubt myself until I get confirmation I am doing well.
Given the choice between commuting to an office and working from home, there is no comparison to be had. Working from home is awesome.
